It is done! I must say that using the right grout makes all the difference, as one might expect. I won't be doing this again for a very long time, but I'm happy to have finally completed this project.

where is that? outside, inside, upside down?
Susie, it's outside, front porch...it's the end result of a major mess (that I made with my own hands ;-) a few weeks ago. The "before" photo is in the archives someplace...but it's too painful to pull up.

Thanks, guys! I really like Mission tiles and spent a lot of time looking before finding these ones. And now, I'm just glad to be done. Next time, I'll call the pros!

Thanks, Jami. :-) I wish the whole house was stone, but it's just decorative around the front porch. The rest of the house is something like plywood plank siding. :-(
