With all of our rain lately, it's been difficult to find a time to mow. The day has finally arrived. Sunny, dry and warm. Perfect mowing conditions. Good bye dandelions. See you next week.
Around these parts, when I utter the words, "with all the rain we've been having", I do it with a smile on my face. Maybe this is the year that breaks the back of the last couple years' drought.

I finally got to mow yesterday, too.
And I'm stealing your dandelion photo for my desktop. Don't try to stop me.
(word verification: pupyzyk. I don't know what it means, but it's got something to do with young dogs and an utterance of surprise, I think.)
Did you ever blow the dandelion in an effort to tell the time? It's what I used to do as a child. Don't ask why hehe.

If it makes you happy, Brian, you're welcome to it. Just don't hurt anyone with it. ;-)
Rachel, I've blown the puffs around for other reasons but never to tell time. How does that work exactly?
Great pix. Happy mowing!
ooh.. pretty picture. I love the way the dandelions looks so soft and fuzzy in the foreground and sharp in the backgroud.
