For My Brother

He asked for it. ;-) This time in the super-duper-click-to-enlarge-format:

Gwynne,
You've gone beyond the pale here. It's bad enough having evidence that your brother once not only possessed but also wore a Pointy headed reddish-orange jacket.
But.
To show him on a bike with training wheels?

As a brother-in-arms, I feel the pangs of his emabarassment and pain. Nest, you'll be showing photographic eveidence of how clean he kept his GI Joe clothes.

Oh, the horror of a sister with a camera!

And I thought the Conehead family was a SNL creation! ;-)

(Nice bike, though.)

Whoa. Nice bike. Is it one of those where you have to peddle backwards to brake? I never mastered that move.

I think your bro looks cute in the pic, so I don't see why he should protest, unless cute isn't the look he is going for. :)

Sorry for the double-post. Blogger was hanging out there like a fat pitch ready to be smashed.

Darko, the irony of the training wheels is that my brother went on to become a champion road-racer. ;-)

I'm afraid the cone-headed jacket may be a hand me down from me, and a little small for him at that. I'm just glad that I wasn't the one caught wearing it. ;-)

Mis_Nomer, yes, backward pedal brakes. Or no brakes at all. I can't remember. It was in the olden days. ;-)

That's cool! I sure wish I had a picture of me with one of my childhood bikes.
