April Flowers!
For those of you who have complained about leaving the Tax Code Podcast post up far too long (you know who you are ;-), I will leave you with these instead:My beloved husband knows just how to brighten my day! Valentine's Day comes and goes. No flowers. I've learned to accept this. His nature is not to pander to Hallmark holidays but to show he cares when I truly need it. And this is how he showed it today. Sweet, no?
More posting forthcoming, but I couldn't NOT share these!

Oooh. Perty! Much better than that which shall not be named. :) Spring-y, and sentimental and happy.
(Flowers are always better when you don't expect them.)
Pretty, pretty!!! I love the lilies, especially.
Beth's right-much better as a surprise and not just cause he's s'pposed ta!
Very pretty. Nothing better than spring flowers.
I agree...flowers are a lovely surprise and best when not expected. What's even better is that people are telling me they can smell them all the way down the hall. Heh. Hope nobody is alergic.
Ask my wife - I do the same thing. Hallmark created holidays are for sissies. It takes a real man to buy flowers when she least expects them. lol, lgp
Who's the little green tomato? ...er, potato? ...er, rock?
Um, that's a green M&M. My daughter made it. It was a surprise. She asked me my favorite color. I said green. Had I known an M&M was in the works, I might have chosen a different color. ;-) Nevertheless, it harbors the forbidden candy and it is a treasure. =)
Nice flowers! I thought that might be an M & M!

MBH will be happy to hear that. ;-)
Thanks, Rachel. =)
I thought it might be an M&M as well, but then got distracted and didn't ask. Hidden candy troves are good things.
And you know the green ones taste the best, don't you Gwynne? :)

That's why I always save them for last. ;-)
