What Art Movement Am I?

The question of the day...

You Are Romanticism

You are likely to see the world as it should be, not as it is.

You prefer to celebrate the great things people do... not the horrors they're capable of.

For you, there is nothing more inspiring than a great hero.

You believe that great art reflects the artist's imagination and true ideals.

What Art Movement Are You?

For Beth

Ooooh! I'm sure I'm surrealism... gotta go try!

Yay! Pretty, romantic picture...and nary a serpent in sight! I imagine that it is Mr. Darcy, staring longingly out into the vast distance and pining for Lizzy (this is, clearly, before they have both overcome their pigheadedness.)

I often think I might enjoy being a Lizzy if I lived where there were scenic vistas that left whispers of the soul of Darcy floating just beyond the edges of consciousness.

In DC, plain, sensible Beth is much more fitting, like the rubber soled shoes you carry in your purse for walking to the metro.

I've done the meme and the quiz and posted them both - yay me hehe!

Jim, that's what is known as self-awareness. You're good!

Beth, I think you're reading a little too much into that picture. A little too much lamb head perhaps? ;-) You carry rubber soled shoes in your purse? Eeuww! Do you know where those soles have been? Do you keep them wrapped in celophane?

Um...well, actually I don't. I just toddle along in my heels, cursing my forgetful self for not remembering the rubber soled shoes. But if I did remember them I'd try to remember also to put them in a plastic bag or separate tote.

Whew! Okay. ;-) I'm thankful I don't have to walk any part of my commute, but I've been known to toddle around in my heels too, like when I have to go to the grocery store on my way home (then I wish I had sensible shoes, like snowboots, in my car...snowboots look smashing with a nice suit skirt).
