Compare & Contrast
Here are pictorials from my recent trip to Hotel del Coronado in San Diego (or "The Del" as it is known in them there parts...isn't that like calling it "The Of The"?) that I thought you might find interesting and maybe a little humorous...here we have...
The Main Building...and My Building
...and from My Room

Wow, nice digs!
I think "The Del" is along the lines of "ATM Machine"...cause the M? It stands for "Machine", so you're really saying Automated Teller Machine Machine. Drives me nutso nutso. :)
I know, I need a life.
It seems, at least from your pictures, that you stayed at "The Un-Del". Not sure if there's a Spanish translation for that.
Did all those cars wash up on the parking lot? Or did you really not see the water at all from your "The Not The" perch?
Let me know next time you leave town and I'll give you William Shatner's phone number. You obviously need some help in your reservations negotiations. ;-)
Darko, it's "El un-Del-Del" according to Babelfish. Heh. ;-)
And to Eric's point, I know now not to let my Company make the reservations. And I'll know to ask for the Building That Is Not El Un-Del-Del.
And no, that is not water on the horizon of the parking lot. My room was facing el océano del un.
